The new industrial project starts from the land and raw materials, thanks to the agricultural ecosystem of Ecornaturasì, Biotobio’s majority shareholder. The contribution of the new partnership means that the production and processing of the Piedmontese sites can be used to strengthen the distribution of organic through the support of important and historic realities.
With this operation BiotoBio – a leading brand in the distribution of the best organic products – shortly after the completion of its first year, is joined by the historic company La Finestra sul Cielo. A partnership aimed at strengthening the network of subjects operating in the organic sector.La Finestra Sul Cielo, in fact, has been operating in the organic market since 1978, a vertical company that includes packaging, production and distribution facilities for organic products in Italy and abroad, in particular with its two subsidiaries in Spain and France. The new entry is characterised by its healthy footprint which, over the years, has led it to be a leader in the field of food intolerances, macrobiotic cooking, and vegan nutrition.
“The evolution of the organic market – which is now playing an increasingly significant role both in Italy and abroad – prompted us to look beyond our corporate walls in search of a partner who could share our values and enhance them at the same time. BiotoBio will allow everyone to do their job to the best of their ability, guaranteeing high standards in terms of both products and services,” commented Marco Merla, President of La Finestra sul Cielo.
BiotoBio, a company that was born and developed thanks to the integration of the Baule Volante and Fior di Loto brands, can now count on the experience of La Finestra sul Cielo to give greater impulse to its mission: the research and development of the best raw materials and products with an integral organoleptic heritage (with particular attention to the social component, to the health of both men and the earth), the distribution of the best organic and biodynamic brands, and the offer of essential consulting and training services.
Roberto Maschio, Chairman of the BiotoBio Board of Directors, said: “This agreement confirms BiotoBio as a company that looks to the future, always setting new goals to increase the capillarity of our offer, investing in realities that can help the growth of a young company like ours.”
BiotoBio supplies shops specialising in organic food, herbalists, and pharmacies. The new partnership will allow it to increasingly address the Ho.Re.Ca. sector and to look at exports, bringing the excellence of Italian organic products to the world.
