Il Fior di Loto and Baule Volante, founded in 1972 and 1987 respectively, and later La Finestra sul Cielo born in 1978, have joined forces-sharing intents and strategic vision-with the aim of strengthening their market position and increasing the quality and efficiency of the services they offer.
BiotoBio is a vertical enterprise that combines the business of developing and distributing organic products with production and packaging in its own factories, going so far as to directly oversee all processes in the supply chain and be its guarantor.
We have two operating sites where our offices are located: one located inside the Bologna Interport, in Bentivoglio, and adjacent to the warehouses, and the other in Piedmont, in Villareggia, in the province of Turin, close to the production hub.
Our production hub, located in Piedmont, consists of two strategic areas of development, affected by a continuous process of strengthening and diversification: the organic food production business and the packaging business in different materials and formats. The goal is to preside over the production and packaging processes of the products, with benefits both in terms of quality and economics.
For picking, order preparation and delivery services throughout the country, BiotoBio relies on EcorWay’s logistics hub, equipped with a 49,000-square-meter semi-automated distribution center in Bentivoglio (BO) and seven transit points distributed throughout the country. State-of-the-art technological infrastructures in every area of operation allow it to guarantee a high level of service at a wide range.
